At least I got out of bed today

A few very random thoughts for the day….

My power went out sometime yesterday, so I had to re-set all my clocks last night.  Unfortunately, I set my alarm for 4:30 PM instead of AM.  I just so happened to wake up at 5:00, which is when I would have gotten up anyway.  Lucky.

Why does the advertisement to the right keep talking about menstrual cramps?  Does it know something I don’t?

T.E.A.M. = Together Everyone Acheives More.  Geez.  How many times have I learned this one?  Every time I take a “teambuilding” class, the instructor pulls this one out of a hat and then beams as if they came up with it themselves.  I get it!  Actually, I enjoy this team training.  It was long overdue for my maintenance team, and will help me feel a little more comfortable as their “coach”, or “team leader”, or whatever I’m being called these days.

More RSVPs have come in for the Dirt Divas’ Women’s Single Speed Group Ride (www.dirtdivas.net).  This will be fun.  I hope it doesn’t rain.

I’m working on my race write-up from last Sunday.  I’m just slow this week due to team stuff.

Tomorrow is my Per4mance Training day.  I hope we can step it up a notch.  I’m a little bored with the “Tempo” Intervals.  The Computrainer is cool, though.  I keep thinking about taking my own music in there.  My “group” does not have the same taste in workout music as I do.  I think they would consider my music ”angry”.

I need to figure out how to post pictures from the internet onto here.  So far, I’ve only figured out how to upload my own pictures.  I have a feeling the “free” memory space runs out pretty quickly.

 That’s all for now.

Something I never thought I’d do…

I tried keeping a diary when I was in high school.  That lasted about a month, off and on.  I still have it.  It’s dumb.

So, now I’ll try a BLOG.  I’ve been writing race reports for Blacksheep Cycles (www.blacksheepcycles.com), and I’ve actually enjoyed it.  So, I’ll post them here, too and see if I can keep it up throughout the season.

I’ll work on getting some pictures in over the next couple of days.  I’m away from the work computer for the week due to “Team” training.  Apparently, all our jobs can be saved if we’re a “team”.
